Benchmark Research was founded in 1993, when a small group of the larger independent coeducational day schools engaged us to design and coordinate a collaborative initiative (JRPO - Joint Research and Planning Office) serving shared research and planning needs at reasonable costs for participating schools.
Since its inception, Benchmark Research has grown the JRPO consortium to over 50 institutions and established three other groups of independent schools with similar projects.
